1 year = 365 beautiful days

Assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah dah menjengah 1 tahun usia perkahwinan kami. Alhamdulillah sepanjang 365 hari itu terlalu indah dan berwarna warni tak mampu digambarkan kesyukuran ku dengan kata-kata. Hanya Allah Maha Mengetahui.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ZAUJI :)

Pelbagai peristiwa dilalui bersama sepanjang setahun ini cukup bermakna buat diriku. Membuatkan diri ini semakin menghargai kehidupan dan mencuba buang jauh-jauh sikap risaukan apa yang mungkin berlaku. Sebaliknya ku fokuskan pada apa yang sedang berlaku sekarang. Semua perkara akan datang dan pergi dalam laluan hidup kita. Sementara ia masih dalam genggaman atau di hadapan kita, kita patut menghargainya. Kerana kita tak pernah tahu bilakah ia akan berlalu meninggalkan kita kekesalan…

Dan seperti juga pasangan yang lain apabila dah masuk 1 year ini,

maka bermulalah segmen ditanya oleh orang sekeliling berkenaan cahaya mata.

Terima kasih kepada semua yang menyayangi dan mengambil berat pada kami.

Hanya Alhamdulillah & Allah Maha Mengetahui yang mampu diucapkan sebagai jawapan kepada persoalan demikian. Kami bukan sengaja mahu melarikan diri atau mengelak tapi sebenar-benarnya hanya itu jawapan yang kami ada. Tulus kami katakan kami pasti berusaha mencapainya dan selebihnya ialah kuasa Allah. Bukankah begitu akhlak Muslim yang sebaiknya menyerahkan semua urusan lepada Allah setelah berusaha? Kami berazam untuk berada dalam lingkungan akhlak tersebut.

Cuma kadang kala persoalan yang hadir secara sinikal mengguris hati juga tapi apa yang mampu dilakukan hanyalah bersabar. Allah sedang menguji. Ujian tanda sayang dan kasih dan rindu. :) Tiada yang tinggal untuk dikeluhkan, Allah lebih tahu.

Teruskan mendoakan kami ya semua. Allah pasti mendengar doa kita.

Pasti pasti pasti dengar dan makbulkan.

Buktinya, Alhamdulillah Allah telah memberikan kami pinjaman cahaya mata selama beberapa bulan sebelum ini. Walaupun masa itu singkat, tapi Amat bermakna lepada kami. Maknanya Allah tidak pernah mengabaikan doa kami. Allah mendengar kami. Allahuakbar.

Perasaan rasa Allah mengambil tahu pasal hamba yang penuh dosa ini amat indah.

Keindahannya mampu mengubati hati yang diuji dengan kehilangan itu.

Berat, payah tetapi indah ditunjangi kasih Allah.

Apapun, kita hanya Hamba. Susah bernafas dalam jiwa hamba ini.

Hak kita tak banyak, tanggungjawab kita banyak.

Kena bijak & kembalikan apa jua pun kepada yang Maha Memiliki.

"Amal ibadah/kebajikan kita umpama pancing yang memancing rahmat Allah"

Selamat meneruskan kehidupan dengan kebaikan dan kebajikan :)

Dah lama tak menulis di blog ini. Tapi hari ni ada sedikit masa lapang & mood nak menulis datang balik.

Dear readers,

quite late eh...but still let me wish u Slmt Hari Raya Aidil Adha. Mudah-mudahan dapatlah kita belajar dan ambil pengajaran serba sedikit kalaupun tak banyak daripada peristiwa korban ini ya. Elemen pengorbanan memang tak dapat tidak, kena ada dalam hidup ni kan. Korban masa, tenaga, jiwa, wang ringgit....ah...anda semua pasti lebih maklum kan :)

Kali ni nak cerita pasal apa ya? Dah lama sangat tinggal kot, jadi lack sikit idea. Hm, tapi kan melihatkan keadaan semasa kini, macam2 sungguh terjadi di Malaysia ni. Kalau sedara sedari ada baca paper, either mainstream ke alternatif ke, boleh lihat pelbagai isu timbul / dimainkan. Ini lah dia namanya kuasa media. Hal yang kecil pun boleh diciptakan isu lantas menjadi frontpage pada paper the next morning. Hee...somebody said if you can conquer the media, u can conquer malaysia~ hm, I don't know bout it..what do you think??

Itu paper. What more with TVs, radio, etc. Kadang-kadang bila tengok tv ni, anda semua sedar tak banyak sangat kini cerita-cerita yang macam "supernatural". or orang kita suka sebut as tahyul. Whatever we call them, itu lah dia hakikatnya...banyak sangat-sangat. Walaupun ada yang dilabel sebagai kisah lagenda, tapi unsur-unsur tak betul mcm tangkal, ilmu hitam, sihir, tetap di promotekan. Macam kelakar juga kadang-kadang fikir habis tak ada cerita ke nak buat selain cerita2 karut begini. Ye, mmg diakui baik dan jahat itu ada di dunia, tetapi terlalu banyak dimomokkan kisah begini....hmm, parah juga. Bimbang2 akidah teruji pulak nanti. Kartun-kartun pulak, ada yang tak memaparkan tauladan tidak baik, seperti merosakkan harta benda awam, kurang ajar dgn ibu bapa, etc. Sekali lagi, akhlak pulak yang akan teruji.

Betul lah tu, dalam hidup ini banyak ujian. Banyak cabaran.

Hanya yang betul-betul berpegang dgn tali Allah je yang boleh make it to the end of this journey safely.

So, choose your way wisely ok.

Alhamdulillah, finally done with the examination paper. A nice closing with pus anyway, even x reti cari evaporation rate...tapi the happiness of finishing the exam struggle remains the same. Sungguh nyaman rasanya, yet ada lagi another mission on this 24th for FYP final presentation. Well, today is dedicated to make the slides actually, tp nak updet blog dulu.

Well, last month when people are so busy with job interview, I shared this with my usrati and sahabats. Personally, I am very very thankful sbb involve dgn Smart Group (SG) since entering UTP ni. I had the chance previously to be in one of the SGs and sungguh bersyukur dgn peluang itu. Why? Sbb SG mengajar diri ni mcm2 sgt yg berguna. And I just realized it during those job interviews. You know, interviewers always asked about your achievements, your contributions, how you deal with people, how you adopt with new environment, everything. Well, i got the answer mostly from this intellectual discussion, SG. Ha...surprise kan? Kalau ada yg menyangka SG ni tak delah beneficial sgt, tp to those who really commit in this thing, you'll get the benefits.

Well, different people have different definition of success or achievement. For me, success is when we can produce or help other people to success. And in UTP i got the chance of doing it, through SG. Smart Group consists of few people, which we meet regularly, we discuss about many issues, we share on our experience and the lesson learnt. We usually shared our dreams or our targets. And it is soo exciting when everyone in the group is actually helping us to achieve those goals. To see our sisters achieved their target is the sweetest moment.

Many people are afraid or nervous to talk publicly. So, I polished that in SG as well. Eh, sedar atau tidak, handling SG is not easy. Bermula dengan pertemuan seramai 6-7 org yang tak dikenali, to unite them in a group, to make them talk and share, is not easy kan? Tapi that's what we face. Which at the end, memberi kelebihan kepada kita. We learnt how to adopt with new people with lain-lain background. We learnt how to find the win-win situation in the group. We learnt how to appreaciate the differences and raikan persamaan. That's what people called, SOFT SKILLS and communication skills. Nah, SG lah salah satu medan utk kita train ourselves dlm improving those skills. Kat tmpt lain, xde lah kita nak saja2 pegi bercakap2, berkenal2 dgn org kan. Tp in SG, we did that.

Ah-ha in SG, I learnt about people management. Yes, there are always times where all of the members have different ideas. semua pun mahu memberi pendapat yang berlainan. Ada yang betul, ada yg salah, ada yang mencuba jaya. But at least it stimulate the thinking kan. And how we handle it to direct all those diverse thinking into one similar direction?? Ha...ketua2 SG sure leh jawab ni...silakan~

It shows your management skills as well. Membahagikan masa di antara belajar dan lead the SG, is not that easy kan. Semua ahli SG ada jadual masing-masing, as kakak/abg in there, we also act as coordinator in scheduling (Project Management pun ada...) the next period for SG. It shows that you're multitasker as well. Kalau nak masuk event-event, yes it also a good way. But we have extra, which is this all-time-SG. There's no time period, nor closing ceremony for this SG. It's on going and it test your commitment very much.

Maaf lah kurang tersusun posting ini, tp the point is - I would like to give a token of appreciation to SG for giving me the chance and platform to gain those great values. Arigato Gozaimasu :D

Final Exam, Job Hunt and .....

Alhamdulillah, dah abih 3 papers - Malaysian Studies, Operations Management dan jugak Engineers in Society. Tinggal lagi 1 paper which is the core one - Plant Utility System on this coming 21st. And then, the most awaiting thing is the FYP presentation. Nervous tapi abis awal okey jugak, boleh la tenang sikit utk berhari raya dan melayari hari2 seterusnya.

Ok, petang ni my shbt dpt kije dah~!!! sooo jealous tapi tumpang hepi juge :) kerja di tmpt intern lamanya dulu. Alhamdulillah, rezeki masing2 kan. Ada jugak org2 lain lagi yg dh dpt kije, good2. Me? Hm, still searching. Doakan ya moga beroleh kerja secepatt yg boleh dan kerja itu yg terbaik buat diri, famili, agama, bangsa dan negara. Amiinn

Today is a pause for me from all the hardworks. Struggle betul utk habiskan 3 paper tersebut sbb sume pun jenis pembacaan. So, mlm ni bertenang dulu, smbil2 buat slide (perhaps) or anything else yg bermanfaat. is updating this blog bermanfaat? i think so :)

Oh yes, baru ni ada yg tnya, "Apa perkara yg dpt or gained from this 5 years in UTP?" Hm...susah jugak to compress all the memories into words kan. Well, there are soooo many things I learnt and gained all these while. Dari foundation 1st up till now, everyday between it has its own memories. Sungguh bersyukur dan gumbira di sini. To list out mmg x abis la mlm ni, so why not wait for another post where I'll share on this matter lebih mendalam sikit lagi?

Sorry for this late update on SRCUTP Election which "menutup tirai" last night. The standing is clear, Umair lead the list with the highest votes. Others who won the seat are Muid, Haniff, Ain and Jenani. Congratulations to all of you. Takziah as well. Remember, this is amanah. People will observe you, Allah will also observe you more. Be sincere and start working on all your promises! All the best young leaders!


Other thing to share is about nikmat merasai perubahan. It's about the Sweetness of having Changes. A good changes of course. A friend of mine shared the stories of his own life, and mention about this "nikmat perubahan". Well, friends...let's think if we are not be given hidayah from Allah s.w.t, where are we right now? Will we be a practising Muslim? Will we still do the praying, five times day and night? Will us?

Think deeply, you will definitely realize that without nikmat ini or hidayah Allah s.w.t, We will never be in this road.

So, be grateful!

When the clock strike 5pm, it indicated the end of Voting period for today. Alhamdulillah, from naked eyes, we could see ramai jugak students performed their responsibilities. Even not as many as previous year, at least we could feel that today is Election Day. Somehow, deep down I hoped to see more students do their voting because actually it resembles our maturity upon politics, campus issues, etc.


So, to all candidates, pray upon Allah s.w.t for His best decision. May all efforts whatsoever done during this election period (21-28th Oct) be recognized as a "amal" towards mardhatillah.

What's the result for this SRCUTP 2009/2010 election? Who's gonna be the top 5?
Wait, I'll update it as soon as the counting is done tonite. InsyaAllah

My last campus election

Assalamualaikum wbt

Today is an important day to UTP students because we gonna have our Campus Election Day, starting from 9am up to 5pm. All cafes have been provided with Voting Corner by SPR, so friends, please come and vote. It's our responsibility after all.

The fever of this election had been started on last 21st October with the nomination day. I was there at that day to witness the candidates' greatest day. Well, it had been 1 year of not involving in campus election due to internship, so this year is a refresher. I was very excited to see the faces of young leaders handing over their forms and waited for the objection period and finally succeed in having their names listed on the candidates list. Some of them are my juniors, some are just new faces. Even, my close junior, Hanif (the ex-secretary 1 SRCUTP07/08) also was there, as a candidate again! What a "semangat"~!!

Next important stage in election period is the Manifesto night. I was there, again to witness the important night. There were 6 candidates on the stage for General Constitution seat. All of them seemed to be prepared with bunch of friends/supporters. Teringat zaman dulu-dulu, tak lah seramai ini supporternya. It was a good sign anyway - UTP students sudah berminat to take note on SRCUTP Election. On the night, I asked few questions to some candidates, and one of them even dedicated a blog post to answer my question! That was also a good sign that the candidate is very much seriuos of being up there as young leader. Whatever it is, uphold professionalism and integrity okey once any 5 of you won the seat.

And the campaigning part is always the most exciting above all. It was nice to see the supporters moving here and there to promote their candidates. Posters are everywhere, banner also, etc.

Perhaps, today the percentage of students do their voting will be increased from previous years.

All in all, I urge my friends to come and vote to 5 candidates that you believe in. All of them have credibilities, all of them have the good side and the weakness part. Yet, only five seats are available. One has to be leave blank in the voting form. Which one? It's totally up to you.

Eh, lagi dua bulan?

Today I had done my final year project poster presentation. Alhamdulillah, it was a long presentation+QNA really. Yet, okey lah jugak kan. After the presentation, lega sungguh because at least one of the listed burden dah berlalu. Yes, i have a long list of work-to-be-done currently. Being a Final year student doesn't promise you a free-daily timetable definitely! Especially when you're chemical engineering final student just like me *coff3*

So, on the way back after the presentation, sungguh berasa teruja bila pikir just having to go on with 2 months only in UTP! Tapi, a minute later, rasa sedih pulak because no-doubt I enjoyed and is enjoying my life in utp sooo much. The people, the occasion, the laughters, everything. So many experiences grabbed and learned here, or in skema-way, "utp byk mengubah saya". so true!

Anyway, these last 4 weeks before exam week harus dimanfaatkan sebaiknya to do all the things in the wishing list yg dibuat sejak2 masuk utp dulu-dulu tu. And also to strive for excellence final gpa of course. Tapi, FYI these 4 weeks gonna be a real crowded dengan pelbagai projects yg menghantui. almost all subjects wanna have projects and presentations. Takpe lah, maybe this hard moment pun hnya utk sementara....after this, pastinya dikenang as kenangan manis. Silap-silap can be boring bila xde wat kije apa2. Bak kata rumet, 2 bulan lagi mulalah mengadu boring sebab xde project fyp, fydp semua~~


Eh okey lah...enough crapping overhere...wishing all of you especially final semester students the very best in this final sem :)

Sengaja mengadakan posting ini, semata-mata untuk mengingatkan kepada diri sendiri terutamanya dan my dear faithful readers berkenaan satu perkara - ISTIQAMAH

Ya saudara dan saudari, perkara ISTIQAMAH ini kena sekali untuk diremindkan, apalagi dalam suasana kita baru sahaja melepasi bulan Ramadhan yang penuh keberkatan, juga 1 syawal yang menandakan kemenangan kita mengharungi Ramadhan. Kini, apa pula selepas Ramadhan? Beraya sudah, berpakaian baru sudah, bersalam-salaman dan bermaaf-maafan juga sudah. Jadi, apa ya yang perlu lagi untuk merayakan dan meraikan kemenangan Ramadhan?

Ha...jawapannya ialah ISTIQAMAH dengan amal ibadah yang kita lakukan selama 1 bulan di dalam madrasah tarbiyah Ramadhan itu. Biarpun tiada solat terawih di luar bulan Ramadhan, tetapi disiplin mengadakan solat sunat boleh bahkan harus diteruskan. Biarpun tiada malam al-Qadar di bulan-bulan lain, budaya qiamullail yang telah disemai sebulan itu juga ayuh kita teruskan. Bukan hanya itu, semua lah apa jua amalan yang kita lakukan dengan sabar dalam bulan Ramadhan itu, haruslah kita teruskan biarpun Ramadhan telah berlalu!

Dalam dunia kini Islam sering difitnah oleh orang bukan Islam, belum dikira juga fitnah yang datang dari umat Islam sendiri. Jadi, hasil atau output dari madrasah Ramadhan ini sebenarnya mampu memberikan kita kekuatan/senjata bagi dijadikan perisai dan catalyst untuk mencegah diri terjebak dalam fitnah-fitnah tersebut. Amalan-amalan inilah yang akan menjadikan kita lebih cenderung untuk thabat (tetap) dalam mempertahankan agama Islam kita ini.

Sahabat2, mempertahankan Islam pada dunia hari ini ibarat menggenggam bara api. Oleh itu, dengan basis yang kukuh hasil dari amal yang baik, insyaAllah mampu membuat kita bertambah kuat dan resistant terhadap sebarang cabaran yang bakal kita hadapi.

Jadi, jom tanya diri masing-masing : Ma ba'da Ramadhan? Apa selepas Ramadhan?
